Dear Member of Congress,

The Senate MUST pass the Laken Riley Act to protect Americans from illegal alien criminals who are being released to commit additional crimes. 

Also, the Senate must reject any amendments that weaken the bill and only support amendments like  "Sarah's Law" that expands the Act to require the detention of illegal aliens who are involved in crimes that cause death or serious bodily injury.  

Laken Riley's death at the hands of an illegal alien is a tragedy. That illegal had already been apprehended and RELEASED, and then murdered that wonderful young girl. The Laken Riley Act requires federal authorities detain illegal aliens accused of crimes such as burglary, theft, or shoplifting. The bill also lets states sue the federal government for not enforcing immigration law!

What happened to Laken Riley is a tragedy that, sadly, has been repeated time and time again. We must detain illegal aliens who commit crimes and hold the federal government accountable to uphold immigration laws. Please support the Laken Riley Act.
