The House is preparing to vote (likely in the next 24 hours) on what's called a "rescissions" package that will make permanent about $9 billion in waste that DOGE has identified.

While the $9 billion represents barely one-tenth of one percent of annual federal spending, some politicians -- including GOP RINOs -- are resisting making the $9 billion in cuts permanent.
