 DEPLOYMENT ALERT: HURRICANE BERYL

Hurricane Beryl has hit the Caribbean as a massive Category 4 storm -- the earliest such storm on record.

Grenada's prime minister called the storm a "total devastation" for two of the country's nine islands. The island of Carriacou took a direct hit from Beryl and the damage is extensive.

Our contacts report that the people are desperate for food and water.

+ + We are deploying IMMEDIATELY!

As soon as the storm hit, we dispatched resources to our partners in Grenada so they could begin meeting immediate needs.

Also, a Mercy Chefs team is deploying to Grenada and will work to establish a feeding kitchen and supply lines to get hot meals, water and other vital resources to those most in need.

This will be a logistically challenging deployment because some of the islands will be difficult to reach. That means we are going to need extra support from friends like you.

Would you please consider sending a SPECIAL GIFT TODAY as we deploy to meet this critical need in Grenada? Go here to make your tax-deductible gift to help those impacted by Hurricane Beryl:

The first 72 hours of every deployment are always the most critical and the most costly.

Also, we are monitoring Beryl's path and impact as it crosses Mexico and then heads for a possible landfall in the U.S.

Thank you for your prayers and support.

Gary LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs
