Yesterday, Majority Leader Thune brought a bill to the Senate floor to stop Congressional Insider Trading and implement Voter ID -- a centerpiece of the SAVE America Act.

Both issues are 80% approval by the American people.

The bill received unanimous support from Republicans and unanimous opposition from Democrats.

+ + Democrats blocked Voter ID. Again.

As Grassfire has clearly communicated, Sen. Thune and the RINOs, by their tactics, have seemed more than willing to accept defeat. We call this "Play-fight and surrender." They struck a deal with Democrats to delay many key votes until after the November elections. Thune also refused to force a Talking Filibuster over President Trump's #1 issue -- the SAVE America Act.

But here's our political reality, on October 1, 2026:

Every Democrat in the Senate voted against a bill that would stop D.C. Insider Trading and safeguard our elections by requiring Voter I.D.

Democrats also blocked the Ratepayer Protection Act -- a bill designed to protect taxpayers from the high electricity costs of AI data centers.

This is why we wanted Thune to ignore the RINOs and fight harder for key America First priorities. Democrats will never agree to stopping illegal voting or giving taxpayers relief, especially in an election year. That's why Republicans must lead, not placate.

But here's the good news...

+ + Patriots have sounded the alarm

Faithful patriots like you have sounded the alarm to the GOP establishment and the RINOs. For example, on the SAVE America Act alone, the Grassfire team has had an astounding impact:

  • The total reach of Grassfire's messages on the SAVE Act has exceeded 12 million;

  • We have seen an estimated 1 million active engagements on this issue;

  • Grassfire team members have sent more than 100,00 fax letters to members of Congress on the SAVE Act;

  • And our team members made tens if not hundreds of thousands of phone calls to Capitol Hill.

As a result, Thune could not get away from the SAVE Act, even though the RINOs tried to bury the issue time and time again.

Right down to one of their final votes before they closed down yesterday, Thune took Voter ID to the Senate floor. And we will press Thune to pass the SAVE Act again in November, either as a standalone bill or as part of "Reconciliation 3.0."

+ + The battle ahead

So, what's next? 

Schumer and Jeffries feel emboldened. They are giddy. They think the "winds" are at their backs and the end of President Trump's MAGA Revolution is just weeks away.

It's getting even more serious. The Republic is at risk. That's why we need to keep standing and keep fighting for American greatness.

So in a few days, we turn to the battle to Stop Socialism.
