Back in 2006, Grassfire was in the midst of a massive "Stop The Invasion" grassroots campaign that involved the placement of massive billboards across the country. Today, President Trump openly uses the word "invasion" to describe the the crisis of open borders and illegal immigration. But back in 2006, using the word "invasion" was shocking even for conservatives.

Our campaign caught the attention of radio host Glenn Beck who was just starting his TV career with a show on CNN's Headline News. As memory serves, this interview took place during Beck's debut week and may have been his second day of airing. Soon after this interview, Beck's already impressive career shot up like a rocket when he moved to FOXNews and later launched his own multi-media empire. Coincidence?
