Dear Senator,

The "America Creating Opportunities for Manufacturing, Pre-Eminence in Technology, and Economic Strength Act of 2022" (aka, the "America COMPETES Act of 2022") has arisen out of the smoldering ashes of Joe Biden's failed "Build Back Better" boondoggle and is now before the Senate. In February, House Republicans widely dismissed this tax-and-spend scheme from radical Democrats on Capitol Hill, dubbing the bill the "America Concedes to China Act."

The Wall Street Journal called H.R.4521 the "Be More Like China Act," adding: "The House competition bill is industrial policy mixed with welfare" and "leaves no liberal special interest behind." The newspaper's editorial board also writes: "If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, Chinese President Xi Jinping should feel honored by the 2,900-page bill House Democrats claim will make the U.S. more competitive. To counter China, Democrats think America must copy Beijing's industrial policy."

GOP leaders in the House called the 2,912-page, $324-billion bill "a liberal wishlist filled with reckless spending." This legislation seems similar to "Build Back Better," but actually, it's worse. Why? Because it "Builds Back China" by handing the communist nation a competitive advantage over America. According to House Minority Whip Steve Scalise's office, this "package of progressive priorities ... gives China an economic and diplomatic upper hand over the United States. There is no reason for any Member of Congress to vote for Democrats' soft-on-China legislation."

I agree, which is why I'm faxing you today. I'm calling on Senators to vote "NO!" on the radical Democrats' plan to "Build Back China!" Americans may not know exactly when the Senate will vote on the horribly misnamed "America COMPETES Act of 2022." But as an "America First" patriot, I urge you to fight and protect the U.S. economy from the harmful policies of radical Democrats and the Biden regime. Vote "NO!" on the "America Concedes to China Act"! Please note that I'm monitoring Senate response to my urgent call to action. Thank you for your time and attention.

Sincerely,

A Taxpaying, American Patriot
