Sen. Chuck Schumer just announced that he is proposing legislation to "make the Pride Flag a congressionally authorized symbol."

Schumer is outraged that President Trump removed the Pride Flag from federal buildings and now he wants legislation that could be used to require that the Pride Flag fly on federal buildings.

According to FOXNews, Schumer's legislation would give the Pride flag "similar protections as the U.S. flag."

Grassfire feels that it is outrageous that as our nation gets ready to celebrate our 250th anniversary, the top Democrat leader in the Senate is announcing a bill that would elevate the Pride flag to similar federal protections as our nation's flag!
