Hurricane Ian victims need our help. Mercy Chefs -- Grassfire's disaster relief partner -- is on the ground in Fort Myers and is serving hot meals to victims and volunteers TODAY, including area hospitals.

Please see Gary's message below. I'm hoping the Grassfire team will help sponsor 1,000 meals for hurricane victims this weekend. Go here to sponsor 10, 20 or even 50 meals for Hurricane Ian relief, and see below for more details.

Steve,

SATURDAY A.M. FROM FORT MYERS:

We're serving lunch and dinner TODAY to hurricane victims here in Fort Myers -- including special deliveries to four area hospitals. Please see below, and go here to help with Hurricane Ian Relief this weekend. --Gary

A cry for help came to us yesterday through Facebook...

"My sister is blind in a hospital and she needs water."

We connected with this woman who lives in another state to find out the name of the hospital. This led to us learning that this hospital and three others here in Lee County all needed help.

Our team then went to work and organized the delivery of six pallets of water along with 3,000 meals last night for dinner to these four hospitals.

Today, we'll deliver about 6,400 meals to these four hospitals to assist them in feeding their patients both lunch and dinner. Thousands more meals will go out to those in need. And every day, we are responding to new calls for help.

But to meet the urgent needs here in Florida, I'm turning to friends like you...

Will you sponsor 10, 20, 50, 100 or more hot meals for Hurricane Ian victims this weekend by making a tax-deductible gift right now? Go here:

 + + Situation is critical

The situation here is still critical. Fort Myers beach has been decimated. Entire neighborhoods were damaged with many homes and buildings destroyed. Basic infrastructures are broken, which means what Mercy Chefs is doing is vitally important.

Please pray for the people here. This storm has struck a devastating blow. Delivering high-quality, chef-prepared meals reminds those who have faced such loss that someone cares and perhaps better days are ahead.

Thanks in advance for your help this weekend.

God bless,

Gary LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs

P.S. Yesterday, one person sending a message through Facebook made a huge difference for thousands of people. What you can do today -- sponsoring 10, 20, 50 or even 100 meals -- will make a difference. Please help. Go here:
