Dear Member of Congress,

I am outraged that you just CAVED to Chuck Schumer and the dirty deal that is setting up a massive "backdoor amnesty."

By voting YES on the "rule" to allow a floor vote on the Schumer brokered deal and then voting NO on the final passage of the appropriations bills, you caved. If just ONE of the 21 had voted against the rule, the Schumer dirty deal would have been defeated or at least delayed. Perhaps Senate leaders would have actually committed to a "standing filibuster" (which would require no rule changes in the Senate) to get the SAVE ACT through Congress.

Sadly, the joke's on you (and conservatives who have supported you) because almost immediately after the "rule" vote, Thune announced that he had not promised to break the filibuster for the SAVE ACT.

But you knew that would happen. You were "play fighting" prior to another surrender. You should be ashamed.
