Here's what I think will happen today...
We will wake up tomorrow morning realizing that we live in an ideologically divided nation and that the ideological divide is growing to the point that our nation is on the verge of fracture.
Same divide, just worse...
You'll be shocked by the outcome of some elections. It will be dificult to
fathom that such a large percentage of your fellow citizens actually wants socialism and abortion and gender transitions and open borders. The divide will be along the same lines of demarcation - geography and faith. Want to predict how someone voted? Ask them where they live and if they went to church last week.
Urban dwellers will go for socialism. The farther away from the city center you live, the more likely that you will vote for life, liberty and limited government. As far as religion, in short if you went to church in the past few weeks, you are more likely voted America First.
But specifically, here's what I see...
Democrats take the House
In seven of the last nine midterm elections, the party not controlling the White House has gained an average of nearly 23 seats. If we apply that average, then the House ends up 238-197. Some interesting additional tid bits:
- the median gain is much less, 13 seats. But even 13 seats results in Speaker Jeffries;
- Clinton lost 54 seats in 1994, Obama lost 54 seats in 2010, and Trump lost 41 seats in 2018 -- their respective first terms. Both Obama and Clinton did much better in their second mid-terms. But this feels more like a "second first midterm" for Trump than a second midterm.
- If the GOP loses less than the median (13), then it's actually a victory. But we still have Speaker Jeffries if Dems gain just four seats.
History alone says Democrats control the House. My guess: Dems control 228-207. That would be a net gain that is actually favorable. If I'm wrong, it's likely to skew worse for the GOP. As we have been warning, "Speaker Jeffries" will mean a House that is in an open war with President Trump, his lieutenants and his family. The impeachments will begin with underlings this time -- Hegseth first. Then the investigations will build to the case for the third Trump impeachment. And if we wake up on Wednesday and Johnson is still Speaker, we all vow to never answer or listen to a poll again and agree that the Reagan Revolution has been superceeded by the Trump Transformation!
10 Senate races to watch...
The Senate is another story. Here are the 10 Senate races to track this evening:
- GA and NC likely Dem; Dems +1 with NC flip;
- MI and MN likely Dem HOLDS; if Dems lose either, getting to 51 is difficult; watch MN where last polling is close and an unexpected Tafoya GOP win could save GOP majority;
-
That leaves 6 current GOP seats and GOP can only lose 2 to keep 50 and control:
- TX, IA, KS -- if GOP loses any of these, watch out!
- AK -- we likely won't know until Wednesday
- OH -- the battleground continues
- ME -- will RINO Collins save the GOP majority?
My guess (and it's just a guess): GOP holds 51-49 (Dem gains in AK, IA and OH, GOP gain in MN).
Most importantly...
Vote (see below). Make sure other patriots vote (see below).
And PRAY for God's mercy on our land!
