FOX News reports that "mounting ethics complaints" have been filed against Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) for his threats against Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.
"In the days following Schumer’s statements at an abortion rights rally outside the court building," the FOX News article explains, "complaints were sent to the Senate Ethics Committee and the New York bar’s Grievance Committee, alleging that the Democratic leader’s remarks violated ethics rules."

Grassfire reached out to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell's (R-KY) office this morning. We asked our contact there about a possible vote to censure Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) for threatening two Supreme Court Justices at an abortion rally last week. Here's the email reply we received:

By "other matters," we assume he means the widening panic about the Chinese Coronavirus. While this illness is serious and requires every American to take necessary precautions, we can't let fear-mongering media and big-government Democrats push everything else aside.
Right now, the Left is STEAMROLLING the rights of law-abiding Americans! The National Guard is "containing" part of a city in New York. Government officials are discouraging (and in some cases, prohibiting) citizens from assembling in large crowds. They're also encouraging us NOT to travel freely inside our own country. Since emailing you this morning, Grassfire has learned more about GOP efforts to censure Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) for his threats against two Supreme Court Justices last week. Republican Senators are pushing ahead on a resolution introduced by Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) that officially condemns Schumer for his verbal attacks targeting Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh. FOX News reports:
Hawley's resolution, which was co-sponsored by 14 senators, called for Schumer to be censured for the comments, which it describes as "an attempt to unduly influence the judicial decisions of the Supreme Court of the United States and to undermine the vision of the founders of the United States of the 'complete independence of the courts of justice.'"
FOX News also says that even left-leaning legal experts have called Schumer's rhetoric "inexcusable," "inappropriate" and "wrong." President Trump is railing against Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and calling for his resignation. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is in hot water after threatening Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh. At an abortion rights rally on the steps of the High Court yesterday, an "unhinged" Schumer yelled:
"I want to tell you Gorsuch, I want to tell you Kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind. And you will pay the price! You won't know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions."
The top-ranking Senate Democrat may have thought he simply was delivering an "applause line" in front of a "friendly" crowd of abortion supporters. But his comments were a reprehensible and purely partisan verbal assault against two excellent and esteemed jurists.
