Rush Limbaugh Tribute

In honor of Rush's life and legacy, share how the "Great One" impacted your life and our nation....

Rush Limbaugh was one of the nation's leading conservative voices for more than three decades. He championed America's founding ideals of liberty and limited government like few talk-radio hosts ever. On Wednesday, February 17, at the start of "The Rush Limbaugh Show," his wife Kathryn announced that he died from lung cancer at the age of 70.

We're saddened by his passing and what it will mean to the future of the conservative movement in America. But we are grateful for the decades that he served as such a strong voice for this great nation. Please join us in praying for his family and friends during their time of loss.

(Grassfire President Steve Elliott's Tribute.)

Please use this "Rush Tribute" to share how Rush impacted you personally and how grateful you are for the way he has impacted our nation.

He was brilliant and I believe he was on loan from God

And I truly think we have lost the answer to the mess we have in Washington now: Our nation needs to be on our knees for another person like RUSH.

I will surly miss his voice and true words of wisdom. He always gave me insight as to what was really going on. He will be a big loss to the conservative movement.

I listened to Rush I believe for 25 years. He made me laugh and think. I looked forward to spending 3 hours with him. My day was made when I heard his voice. I loved his humor and sarcasm and he really loved what he did. He was a pro. I miss him so much. God bless you Rush, thanks for giving me and millions of others a voice.

When Rush first came on in the late 1980s I thought I needed to see a doctor, a head shrink, as I was reading and listening to all these liberal radio shows and watching liberal TV and was not thinking like them. Rush came on and I was over joyed, I was OK!!! Bob Briner

I always enjoyed Rush. I listened to him many times. He made me feel better about the politics even when things were bad. I will greatly miss him. He has now left a gigantic void in talk radio. I was very sorry.

Rush was truly a very special man. He had so many followers and he was “spot on” on so many things. We will truly miss him.

In 1988 I had just visited a friend in Southern California and was on my way to Alaska for a new flying career. I turned on the radio but EVERY station I tried had some psycho babel cry a thon going on. Then I hit one where this guy said something ( I wish I remembered what) that I had said for years.. The more I listened the more things he said that I believed but hadn’t heard on the airwaves in years . I had given up on the BIG NEWS as they all made up stories. He was funny , witty and told it like it is ! That started me on that never ending educational system of the EIB !! He kept me sane online when I was in the Middle East for 4years too.

YOU WILL BE MISSED RUSH ! We all loved you because you said what was in our hearts.

Rush will be missed by conservatives who still believe in your Constitution. My God help his wife to get through the grieving process. WE need more people to speak

    the truth !

For years my wife and I would spend our lunch hour in my truck with a sandwich listening to Rush. My wife cried when she got the news of his cancer.

He was a man that although not met personally became a part of the family. If there was an issue or topic in the news or in the world you could always rely on Rush to give you the straight scoop. He will be sorely missed.

May he rest in peace and God bless his family.

All I can say simply is “rush, I love you” Your wit, humor and amazing ability to make complex issues clear was actually a spiritual healing for my mind battered by the insane media and progressive left. RIP. I’m broken by your departure and will look for any clips of you I come across on talk radio shows and YouTube posts. ❤️

I first discovered Rush as a young Marine Captain just back from the Gulf War. He was so wonderful and refreshing and totally fearless. I would tape his TV show and watch it when I got home. He was a great aid to me in keeping my spirits and optimism up during the disasters of the Clinton and Obama disasters. He was the leader of the opposition for decades and a true blessing to our Republic. He is safe in Glory now. I will miss him, but will continue to believe as he did that America’s best days are yet to come if we keep fighting to defend our liberties.

First heard Rush in 1990 on another instructor’s radio, at the Trident Training Facility in Kings Bay Georgia. I have always been a conservative, but Rush described positions I already held and fill in the knowledge gaps I had as to why they were the correct positions. His humor, style, and honesty kept me listening through the last years of my Navy career and the transition to civilian life. A great radio and TV personality and a great man. He is attacked now by the limp noodles who no longer have to worry about being bested by the man with Talent on loan from God. Well now we need to hope and pray, God will loan it to another individual on earth. Miss you Rush.

So many times, when things were happening in our world that made me fell crushed and defeated, I would listen to Rush and he would give reason for hope, reason to not give up and keep ‘fighting the good fight’. I learned so much from listening to his talk shows. He will be sorely missed. There will never be another Rush Limbaugh. May you Rest In Peace.

I first heard Rush coming home from work’ & thought who the hell is this guy? well I listened from time to time & some thing clicked’ I was working at a plant that was union & pushed democratic polices, so you went that way. { go along to get along} well Rush converted me to conservative & I listened every day when I could for 20 plus years, Thanks Rush you were a friend I never got to meet, but felt I knew you. you were the best & will never be replaced, thank you for getting Hanity,Ingrem, & Lavin started, they will keep what you started going on Tv & radio, with out you there would be no AM radio.

From the bottem of my heart THANK YOU FRIEND R.I.P.

I was proud to present Rush to my relatives in the Czech Republic along with Donald Trump as examples of the best of America. We will prevail against communism in order to honor them.

I feel very blessed to have been able to listen to Rush week in and week out, representing what my thoughts about any issue were. These were throughout the many, many years of listening, but must of all lately were our prayers for Rush during his fight with cancer and only when he could return, should he. There will never be another Rush, God Bless him and his family.

While marriages are seldom cemented on the basis of political beliefs, differences down the line can make things difficult. My wife of 10 or so years was a left leaning democrat until I turned her on to Rush in Sacramento many years ago. She is now a staunch conservative thanks to the man with talent on loan from God. Rush not only saved our marriage, he instilled a faith in America that she and I both desperately needed.

In the late 1990’s I remember the driver of the Fritos van in my city. When he parked to deliver

he would leave the side doors wide open with the radio volume turned way up so we could all

    hear Rush’s radio program.

    I salute that driver.

Rest easy in your “next place” Rush!

I know someone will pick up the torch.
