NIKE said NO to our first American flag. Just say NO to NIKE!
After a complaint from Colin Kaepernick, NIKE withdrew a sneaker that featured an image of the 13-star Betsy Ross flag. Kaepernick and others are claiming that the iconic flag -- considered by many to be the first official flag of the United States -- is somehow racist.
It took just hours for NIKE to bow to Kaepernick, and the shoes were pulled from the market.
Grassfire is launching a "Just Say NO To NIKE" CITIZEN STATEMENT, rallying patriotic Americans to take a stand against NIKE and others who are determined to purge our nation under a false pretense of division and racism. Let's tell NIKE we're saying NO until the company stops it's attacks on our nation!
THE PETITION STATES:
To: NIKE Officials
I'm joining the "Just Say NO to NIKE" campaign to let you know I am outraged by your purging of the Betsy Ross flag. Because you bowed to politically correct pressure and said no to one of our nation's first official flags, I'm just saying NO to NIKE and NIKE products until you stop these attacks.
I have a pair of black Nike sneakers !! I used a black magic marker to color in the white logo !! Can’t see it now !! No more for me !!
James Jolly – Hey Nike……you just let America down to one snowflake that does not know the word call respect. Now Nike does not know the word respect. Just leave America will you and take you furry headed spokesman with you.
if they do not feel comfortable with the American Flag and this country the HELL with them. We do not need them.
We will buy no NIKE products while they continue to be un-American. Our daughter already returned NIKE shoes after they picked their spokesman to be Colin Kaepernick.
No to Nile and hell`o . Betsy Ross Fly High forever.
My husband just bought Nikes for his work shoes. He’s a nurse, and buys at least 4 pair of shoes for work a year plus those he uses for casual wear. 6 pair of shoes a year will add up over a life time. I hope Colin is worth it.
Never Buy anything nike again I hope they go broke
Really, for 1 person? How have we allowed athletes to have such power? Very disappointed!
No to Nike! I’m done with your product. I will not buy another Nike product and I will let my friends and family know .
Shame on Nike and Colin. Such a shame.
