Grassfire
On Saturday, June 20, President Trump returned to the 2020 campaign trail in Tulsa, Oklahoma. While the attendance at the event was much lower than expected, the rally broke ratings records for FOX News and was seen by more than 13 million viewers.
The Commander-in-Chief spoke for 101 minutes inside the BOK Center. Mostly, he shared personal stories, criticized the fake-news media, blasted the lawless Left, and attacked presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden. Grassfire staff acquired a transcript of the speech this past weekend. Here are some excerpts:
"The choice in 2020 is very simple. Do you want to bow before the left wing mob? Or do you want to stand up tall and proud as Americans?"
"Joe Biden and the Democrats want to prosecute Americans for going to church, but not for burning a church. They believe you can riot, vandalize and destroy, but you cannot attend a peaceful pro-America rally. They want to punish your thought, but not their violent crimes."
"If Joe Biden were to become president an emboldened Left will launch a full scale assault on American life. ... Biden is fully controlled by the fringe of his party. He is their pawn. ... Biden is a very willing Trojan horse for socialism."
Patriotic artist Jon McNaughton, a Grassfire Nation favorite, took what was probably the most powerful quote from the rally and used it to create another stunning and inspiring sketch of President Trump:
"We believe that faith and family, not government and bureaucracy, are the true American Way!"
