Sue Serlin commented on Rush Tribute 2021-02-18 11:04:01 -0500Dear Family:
Rush provided humor, logic, kindness and forward thinking. He provided thought-provoking comments, wisdom and concern for our beloved United States of America.
My own husband of 29 glorious years of a marvelous marriage passed away January 4, 2021. I extend my empathy on the passing of Rush. Where there is in-depth love and appreciation for each other, it is a gift of their Presence and also presents its own challenges in its finality. You are very blessed and life moves forward. Rush will be sharing his profound thoughts from above.
Rush clearly stated his political stance, yet he invited those who did not agree with him on his show. I applaud him for this. He gave the conditions as he saw them, he shared emotionally, socially, politically and astutely. He then expressed what he saw in the future and expanded upon his thinking always sharing he could be wrong but this is his vision. My husband and I have listened to him for years. His sense of humor combined with the seriousness of the matter was a gift to behold. He was also a person moving forward as we all of us are. He made it clear that he did not know how much longer he had to live but everyday was a gift for him and for all of us.
For all of of you and for all of us, I wish a treasure chest of great health, great joy and great fulfillment. I wish for all of us embracing each other and enjoying all our individuality and creativity. I and my husband from above extend our empathy on the transition of Rush. God bless him. God bless all of us and God bless our beloved United States of America.
In honor of Rush's life and legacy, share how the "Great One" impacted your life and our nation....
Rush Limbaugh was one of the nation's leading conservative voices for more than three decades. He championed America's founding ideals of liberty and limited government like few talk-radio hosts ever. On Wednesday, February 17, at the start of "The Rush Limbaugh Show," his wife Kathryn announced that he died from lung cancer at the age of 70.
We're saddened by his passing and what it will mean to the future of the conservative movement in America. But we are grateful for the decades that he served as such a strong voice for this great nation. Please join us in praying for his family and friends during their time of loss.
