What is Grassfire Nation?
Grassfire Nation is a conservative action network comprised of
more than one million grassroots citizens from across the
nation. Grassfire Nation -- a division of Grassroots Action, is
a privately-held Internet activism services organization that
provides news, information and grassroots activism services and
strategies to individuals and organizations. We seek to provide
a wide array of services to the Grassfire Nation so YOU can
quickly take action. These services include petitions, resources
and practical ways for you to take a stand on key issues of our
day. Our goal is to get you involved in the key debates shaping
our nation and our culture. Through the Grassfire Nation, our
singular focus in on YOU -- the grassroots conservative.
How can I get connected with the Grassfire Nation?
Getting connected here is simple. The best way is to find an
issue that concerns you and sign that petition. Or
go here to receive regular Grassfire Nation email updates.
You can also visit ResistNet,
our social networking site, where you can meet other
conservatives who live in your area or share your concerns.
Is there any cost?
There is no cost to sign a petition, receive email updates or to
join ResistNet.
Grassfire Nation does from time to time offer products and
services designed to help equip you and expand your impact on
key issues. These products and services are always voluntary.
Payments made for products or citizen services (such as delivery
of faxes or hand-delivered letters to members of Congress) are
not tax-deductible.

Steve Elliott is part of
the leadership of Grassroots Action and is heading up Grassfire
Nation. Steve will continue to be the primary point of contact
for you regarding information and updates for the Grassfire
Nation.

Will I receive emails from Grassfire Nation?
If you have signed a Grassfire petition and are currently
subscribed, you will receive emails from Grassfire Nation. Your
emails will come from alert@grassfire.net. Since Steve Elliott
is heading up the Grassfire Nation, he will remain your primary
point of contact for you regarding information and updates.
How can I keep my Grassfire Nation emails from being blocked?
It has been brought to our
attention that some of our emails and order confirmations have
not been received by our friends in the Grassfire Nation. With
the advent of new Spam Blocking tools (built into AOL and other
services), some of the emails that you want to see are
automatically placed in your Bulk/Junk/Spam folder. So, you
never get a chance to open the email.
In three easy steps, you can revise the blocking software to
allow Grassfire Nation emails in your Inbox:
1) Open your email software and go to your email Address Book.
Press Add Contact.
2) Enter 'alert@grassfire.net' (without the quotes) in one of
the email address fields.
3) Press Save.
Or, if you find an Grassfire.net email in your Spam/Junk/Bulk
email Folder:
1) Go to your Spam/Junk/Bulk email Folder in your email
software.
2) Select any email from Grassfire.net.
3) Press the "Not Spam" button.
