Petition Opposing Attacks
Against Conservative Bloggers And Silencing Of Conservative
Speech!
With increasing frequency, conservative bloggers taking a stand
against Leftist extremism in our nation are facing suspicious
attacks and direct threats to their First Amendment rights.
Several conservatives have been the direct target of the Left's
new strategy called "SWAT-ing" in which a bogus 911 call is made
in order to trigger a middle-of-the-night, guns drawn police
response to the blogger's home. In addition, at least one
blogger has seen his free speech and free press rights gagged by
a federal judge -- creating a frightening prospect of
government-led thought police censoring conservative speech.
Petition Holder And Congress To Stop These Attacks....
Sen. Saxby Chambliss has written to Attorney General Eric Holder
calling for a full investigation into the matter of the "SWAT-ing"
attacks. Grassfire Nation -- one of the nation's largest
grassroots conservative citizen and news networks -- is calling
on conservative citizens to join together in calling for an
investigation into these attacks and an end to any government
censoring of conservative speech. Please sign the petition and
alert your friends.
Grassfire Nation wants to deliver
petitions to AG Holder and Sen. Chambliss in the next 10 days.

The Petition States:
To: Attorney
General Eric Holder, Leaders In Congress
A dangerous pattern of personal attacks against conservative
bloggers combined with government silencing of conservative
speech has come to my attention. In response, I support Sen.
Saxby Chambliss' call for the Justice Department to fully
investigate the alleged "SWAT-ing" bogus 911 attacks against
conservative bloggers. This amounts to ideologically-motivated
hate speech against conservatives and demands a full
investigation with corresponding legal action.
In addition, an orchestrated strategy of intimidation and bogus
legal action has led to conservative bloggers having their First
Amendment rights threatened or taken away. I oppose any and all
efforts by the Obama administration or the federal courts to
silence conservative speech. In this politically-charged
environment, Congress and the Executive branch must do
everything in their power to uphold the free speech and free
press rights of all Americans.
