Tell
Congress and the Department of
Justice that You Support Sheriff Joe Arpaio
Attorney General Eric Holder's Department of Justice is
on a
Witch-hunt to take down the "Toughest Sheriff in America"
Petition Sponsor: Grassfire Nation
The Issue
The U.S. Department of Justice is continuing their witch-hunt of
Sheriff Joe Arpaio by moving forward with a lawsuit alleging racial
profiling by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department. Attorney
General Eric Holder wants Arpaio to accept a court-appointed monitor
inside his office to clear any and all decisions made by the
sheriff. When Arpaio refused to have his authority usurped by the
federal government, Holder moved forward with this lawsuit.
These DOJ attacks are the apparent result of Arpaio’s unwavering
stand on illegal immigration, and his unceasing efforts to curb
crime – including immigration violations – while the President
panders and postures for the Hispanic vote.
Grassfire Nation finds this baseless, politically motivated attack
on the Sheriff and his Department to be reprehensible, and is
mobilizing a strong grassroots response demanding the DOJ drop the
lawsuit and end their politically driven witch-hunt against Arpaio.
EMERGENCY PETITION DELIVERY ANNOUNCED -- 200,000 PETITIONS NEEDED
Grassfire is rapidly mobilizing 200,000 citizen petitions condemning
the DOJ’s actions and demanding an end to this politically motivated
witch-hunt against Arpaio and his Department. Grassfire will hand
deliver petitions to the DOJ, as well as the House and Senate
Judiciary Committees.

As a Citizen of the United States, I am declaring my support for Sheriff Joe Arpaio, the Sheriff's lawful practices in prosecuting criminals and his unflinching stand in handling the illegal immigration crisis in his home state of Arizona.
I demand that the U.S. Department of Justice release any evidence involving the allegations against Sheriff Joe and his department's practices. If proven unfounded, I demand an immediate end to the politically motivated witch-hunt against the Sheriff and his department, and a public apology from Attorney General Holder.
