Citizen Demand For Independent Investigation of Sestak "JobGate"

Despite efforts by the Administration to bury the story, the Obama-Sestak JobGate scandal continues to grow. In fact, recent admissions by the White House and Congressman Sestak have only served to raise more questions that demand answers through an independent investigation. To measure citizen reaction to this issue and to create a way for citizens to express their opinion, Grassfire Nation has created this “Citizen Demand” petition calling for an independent investigation into the Obama-Sestak job offer. The Citizen Demand States:

As a concerned citizen, I am joining members of Congress and other leaders in calling for a full and independent investigation into the now confirmed offer of an Obama Administration position to Rep. Joe Sestak in exchange for Sestak leaving the Pennsylvania Senate race.

Since federal law bans “any employment, position, compensation, contract, appointment, or other benefit… to any person as consideration, favor, or reward for any political activity,” (18 U.S.C. § 600), the now confirmed Obama-Sestak offer must be fully investigated by a Special Prosecutor, the F.B.I or other independent body.
